French Dip! Calzones! You can combine them with all kinds of things and wrap them in bread dough for hot-pocket type rolls. Stir-fry it with lots of different stuff for fajitas, over rice, or even as taco meat! Wish I got such a great deal! (And palm trees and sunshine, too??? Quitcher whining! LOL!) (nt) - Nosewiper 10/24/2008 13:19:27 CDT (1)
Yep, casseroles, in gravy, soup, about anything I'd think. (nt) - joyofsix 10/24/2008 13:59:48 CDT (0)
Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle. Layer meat followed by cheese. Roll it up to form a long roll and bake at 425 for about 12-15 minutes or until golden. - Ranae 10/24/2008 15:02:48 CDT (0)

Some kind of fancy schmancy salad or something. And dessert. Tiramisu perhaps. No cooking class, leave me alone with the sun. (nt) - thequeenbeam 10/23/2008 09:59:43 CDT (0)

think I'll start w/ a fruit plate, after my sun, I would like a beach bar-b-que buffet, oh, and LOTS of deserts to sample!! - throw in a steel drum band in the background. (nt) - nancys6kids1dog 10/23/2008 10:28:25 CDT (1)

What amazingly clear pics, you must be totally in love that with sweetie. Thank you God for answered prayers! (nt) - Veronica 10/23/2008 07:07:24 CDT (0)
Aww! Already a cutie. I know you are in love and a huge burden has been lifted. Yay! (nt) - nadiaryley 10/23/2008 07:39:39 CDT (0)
Is it just me, or does everyone get all mushy and start longing for these days of miracle and wonder again when they see US pics? I am so happy that it was a great news for you! (nt) - zookeeper 10/23/2008 08:33:57 CDT (2)
I know I do. Then again, I was actually envying LABOR earlier this week, and being sad that a friend (c-section) missed the experience. I think I'm gradually making peace with the pain in life, probably a good thing? CONGRATULATIONS, Melanie!!! Glad to hear all's well! (nt) - Nosewiper 10/23/2008 08:39:08 CDT (2)
((hug)) (nt) - zookeeper 10/23/2008 09:10:01 CDT (0)
I've always been a little jealous of the C-Section ladies -- that's how much I HATE labor. (But it's not worth the surgery and recover in the end.) (nt) - YankeeMom 10/23/2008 09:50:41 CDT (3)
I've had both and, for me, the C was so much easier. With labor, the pain gets worse and worse and still have pain even afterward. With C the pain gets better and better. I still have numbness around incision 6 yrs later though, which is annoying (nt) - leenieseven 10/23/2008 10:08:33 CDT (0)
Having had 3 c-sections, I would say there's nothing to be jealous of. I hate having sections & the long-term complications (numbness, adhesions, nerve damage to bladder, etc). I'll take regular childbirth any day! (nt) - kpmomof7 10/23/2008 12:58:44 CDT (2)
Having done both too, I can tell you at least for me the pain from csec recovery is 10X worse not to mention longer time, it was absolutely horrible (nt) - Veronica 10/23/2008 14:12:11 CDT (0)
I get all mushy, but I am content being estatic for the new mom. I have no more cravings for birthing my own babies. (nt) - Ranae 10/23/2008 10:25:22 CDT (0)
Woo Hoo and what great pics!!! (nt) - karanunlog 10/23/2008 09:36:19 CDT (0)
